Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and App Development Lab (“we,” “us”) for using Easy App Mail Launcher (the “App”) and this website (together, the “Services”). By installing the App or using the Services, you accept these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use them.

1. Who can use the Services

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Services. You may use them only for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.

2. What the App does

The App replaces your Android home screen and adds an email inbox to it. To use the inbox, you connect a Gmail account by signing in with Google. The App also shows news headlines and web search results from other services.

Your Gmail account is provided by Google, not by us. Google’s terms apply to that account, and we are not responsible for their outages, limits or changes. News stories and search results belong to their publishers. We don’t write, check or endorse them.

3. Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the emails you send from the App and for anything you attach to them.
• Keep your phone and your email accounts secure. Tell Google straight away if you think someone else has access.
• Back up anything important. Email lives with your provider, but the App’s settings, layout and offline copies live on your phone and can be lost if the App is removed.

4. Things you must not do

• Use the Services to send spam, scams, threats or harassment, or to break any law.
• Try to access accounts, data or systems that aren’t yours.
• Copy, resell or redistribute the App, or remove our notices from it.
• Reverse engineer or modify the App, except where the law allows it regardless of these terms.
• Interfere with the Services, for example by introducing malware or overloading our systems.

5. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it. It forms part of these terms.

6. Ads

The App is free and shows ads from Google AdMob. Ads are never chosen using the content of your email. If you buy something from an advertiser, that deal is between you and the advertiser.

7. Our rights in the App

We own the App, its design and its code. We give you a personal, revocable, non-transferable licence to install and use the App on devices you own or control, under these terms. Everything else is reserved.

8. Updates and changes

We may update the App, add or remove features, or stop offering it. We may also update these terms. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above, and if a change is significant we will tell you in the App. If you keep using the Services after a change, you accept the new terms.

9. Ending your use

You can stop at any time by uninstalling the App. We may suspend or end your use if you break these terms or if we need to for legal or security reasons.

10. No warranty

We work hard to make the App reliable, but we provide the Services “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that they will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.

11. Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to US $50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and if you are a consumer you keep all the rights your local consumer law gives you.

12. Disputes

If you have a problem, please email us first so we can try to sort it out. If we can’t, the dispute will be decided by the courts where you live, unless the law where you live says otherwise.

13. General

If part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a term straight away, we haven’t given up the right to do so later. You may not transfer these terms to someone else, but we may transfer them as part of a sale or reorganisation of our business. These terms are the whole agreement between you and us about the Services.
